SCRAPBBOOKING
Scrapbooking is displaying your favorite photos to their best advantage by cropping them, layering them with complementary plain and printed papers, embellishing them using journalling (descriptive text) and various other decorations and techniques to enhance their appearance.
 Scrapbooking is the new fashion – presenting your photos in a photo album has become an art form! Use it to make a diary of a year in the life of a child, to document your heritage, to celebrate a wedding or a birth, or a family holiday. The choice is endless!
Scrapbooking offers you so many choices of what to do with your photos , and you don’t even need to make a full album! You may just wish to make a page or two now and again that you can frame and display, or make tag books, mini albums or concertina albums to celebrate a special event. A project may take a half hour to complete, or a whole day –you decide whether it will be simple, or complicated.
And it doesn’t stop there – now you can present your photos in such a variety of ways – in transformed CD boxes, on decorated artists’ canvases, in albums made from altered childrens’ books, even albums made from coffee filters! Adapt your scrapbooking skills to decorating agendas, address books, or even biscuit jars - the list is endless, and they make great gifts!!
 Scrapbooking is for all ages, and all levels of abilities – no experience needed! It is something you can do in stages, alone, or with others in joining a cropping party. You can book yourself in for a scrapbooking workshop held at Creatout, or Creatout can come to you! ( 3 – 6 participants) . Materials and tools can be supplied on request. Learn how to use Coluzzle, Sizzix machines, Fiskars Shapeboss and Shapecutters, Toga stencils etc all available for use during the workshops. Sale of scrapbooking materials at the end of each workshop.
DECORATE YOUR OWN ALBUM COVER
 Workshops are also held in covering and decorating your own scrapbook covers. Covers can also be made to order, or albums and pages
purchased from Creatout.
